The Great Journey
In 2025, my wife and I fulfilled ourselves a dream that we have had since around the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. We gave ourselves the promise that we’d take a sabbatical before turning 35. In 2025, 5 years before this deadline, we made this dream become reality. Two years earlier, we had bought a used Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and turned it into a campervan. With this bad boy as our means of transport and home, and together with our dog Apollo, who had chosen us as his companions a few months ago (read the full story here), we set off on this great adventure with a rough plan in mind and 10 months of total freedom ahead of us…
