Before starting a new job in autumn 2023 I took the train and went for a nice long hike in the lower Harz region starting from the small town Wernigerode just after sunrise. As the sun was already quite low in late October, I was lucky to catch the Golden Hour around the time I was up in the part in the forest where the trees start to thin out.
